BIO

Emile Devereaux is an internationally exhibiting media artist who works at the intersection of electronic arts production and theory. His artistic practice includes interactive electronics installation, 3D animation, and digital media. His exhibitions, screenings and lectures have been on display in nine countries in North/South America and Europe, including such venues as Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria, The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, Williams College Museum of Art, in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and De Fabriek in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Recently, he worked on a site-specific video installation in Majdanpek, Serbia, and was invited as a specialist in video art to lecture at the University of Montenegro. His sculptural video object, Osmosis, was included in the group exhibition Subjected Culture: Interruptions and Resistance on Femaleness, on display in four museums throughout Argentina from November 2006 to May 2008.

Emile has received a U.S. Fulbright Scholar Fellowship to conduct research and teach in Montenegro in 2009.
